Some have said I am being too hard on myself...
To that I say this: I am not being hard on myself; I am just being silly about everything. Everyone has a different way of dealing with challenges. I would rather laugh than cry; in fact I feel better about myself than I have in a long, long time. I feel so confident in what I am doing that I can have a sense of humor and honesty about it, and this new-found frankness has helped me overcome obstacles just in this short time, Don't worry, I am very very happy. So please take my comments in stride and with a pinch of salt. But thank you so much for being concerned and offering your support.

You Go Bina Girl!! Absolutely love your daily inspirations! You always brighten my day. Three miles... What. I am honestly impressed! I even went to the gym 3 times this week.... Yahoo for me!.. Thanks to YOU!!!
ReplyDeleteBina, I love your posts. I've been ramping up my running as well. I ran 3 miles this last week and I am still recovering. I am running on the treadmill ... I may need to start wearing better exercise outfits or get some blinds. My neighbor said, "I saw you running at 6:50 this morning." I thought, ha, that's funny I wasn't running outside ... wait .. she saw me running in our basement room in my sports bra! ha!
ReplyDeleteBina - I love your posts, but just be nice to my Bina, ok??? You'll be feeling great soon - HEY, we should have a family fitness contest from now until the reunion. Lots of us have baby weight to loose - I have "I love Mexican food" weight to loose. We can do it w/ % weight loss - what do you think???? I am almost ready to run tomorrow, email me w/ some motivationals :)
ReplyDeleteChristina, I love your blog and think it's hilarious! And I never have a chance to say so, but you're looking great; a healthy glow. :) Your blog makes me want to start running, and believe me I am NOT a runner (at all). In fact, I'm almost glad to be pregnant so I have an excuse to not feel bad about not running in spite of your motivation. I may have to stop reading your blog after this baby comes...:)
ReplyDeleteBina - I aslo love reading your posts and I can tell you are having lots of fun with this - keep it up!
ReplyDeleteHey Bean! I just wanted to say that I think you are so brave for doing this and you are doing it so fearlessly. I know it definitely makes my day better. I love your writing style and I think you're helping all of us laugh at the trials and tribulations of getting fit. it's frank and it's cathartic. Basically, your blog is awesome, so keep it up!!!
